What better way to start off your weekend than getting some lovin’ from our cats and dogs? On the 2nd Saturday of each month, make plans to visit the LIFE House For Animals anytime between 10 AM – 11 AM to enjoy “Coffee With Cats & Donuts With Dogs.”
You can…
Relax in our lobby and meet adoptable cats. Each room will be let out to play for 10-15 minutes so you can meet all of the cats available for adoption.
Or…
Come down to the play yard where we’ll have tables and chairs set up on the concrete areas. We’ll let out different dogs to meet, greet, and play with everyone.
No registration required – walk-ins are welcome! This event is kid-friendly and family-friendly.

This free education and hands-on volunteering event for kids 10 and up is brought to the public by the LIFE House For Animals and Paul Sawyier Public Library. Kids will
This free education and hands-on volunteering event for kids 10 and up is brought to the public by the LIFE House For Animals and Paul Sawyier Public Library. Kids will get to try their hand at working a “dog” or “cat” shift, learn what volunteers do at a shelter, and learn about responsible pet ownership. No registration is required. A parent/guardian must be present the entire time.
We recommend wearing closed toe shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty.
