This sweet girl is Neema. She was born around 2017. She came to LIFE House when a good Samaritan took pity on her after finding Neema as a stray in the neighborhood. Neema was taken to a local vet where it was discovered she had a severe infection of the uterus and required emergency surgery to save her. Despite her life-threatening condition, Neema was still purring and "making biscuits" while the staff was examining her, taking blood, etc. The rescuer was unable to keep Neema herself and the vet staff reached out to LIFE House to ask if there was room for her. After several days of post-surgical recovery, Neema was able to come to LIFE House where she immediately settled in. Neema is a bit shy, but a gentle and a good-natured kitty.
